Loud noises create a dark, overwhelming cacophony inside my head. Screaming voices bouncing off of the walls, colliding with each other, rebounding into the cramped, shadowy space that has taken up residence inside my brain. Most of the time the voices are confined within this space, but today they catch me off guard like a deer in the headlights, and they stampede carelessly with no regard for my well-being.
